ABOUT MY WORK
Within the Master Choreography Programme, my teaching is located in the interdisciplinary field and sees itself as an interface of the performing and visual arts with interdisciplinary collaborations. The courses provide space for reflection and individual development, and sets framework conditions for free, risk-taking experimentation. With a view to practice and current events, the choreographers are individually supported and accompanied for professionalisation and their further networking.
The variety of artistic approaches in the choreographic process also initiates an exciting for creative experimentation in the teaching of the BA Dance and invites you to perceive dance again and again as a living art form. In addition to my preferred playing field "floorwork" and contemporary movement vocabulary, the search for embodiment and individual interpretation is my focus in teaching dance students. Especially my extensive experience as a coach and as a hybrid performer are an essential source for this individual support and knowledge transfer. It is moving and always fascinating to be an accompanying partner and awake observer in the student‘s development to a professional dancer.
Within the Master Dance Teacher Programme, I am engaged in a practice-oriented exchange in order to strengthen the strategies, methods and communication skills of the students in their future field of work.
