Palucca Dormitory
The University dormitory provides accommodations for 60 underage pupils and students at the orientation level, in the Young Talents Programme, and in the Bachelor programmes at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden.
The daily supervision, a shared living ambient for the children and youths in the dormitory, and also the close proximity to the university are the advantages offered by the dormitory which is located on the green campus.
Furnishings
The three-bed rooms are fully furnished (bed, desk, closet) and have Internet connections. Each room has its own bathroom with WC, sink and shower. There is a common room with a sitting area, piano, TV, and a shared kitchen with stove and oven which can be jointly used.
Washing machines and dryers (fee-based, each 1.50 EUR) are available as well as refrigerators for storing personal groceries.
On weekdays, all meals are provided in the Palucca University of Dance Dresden Student Refectory by the Studentenwerk Dresden.
Opening Hours
The dormitory is continuously open during the school year or semester as needed. It is principally closed during the State of Saxony’s summer and Christmas breaks.
The exact opening and closing times will be made known at the beginning of each school or academic year in the University’s annual programme under “Further information”.
