The 7th to 10th school years are referred to as our Young Talents Programme. The students in the Young Talents Programme are members of the Palucca University of Dance Dresden and at the same time students at the integrated Secondary School. The Programme is carried out as a part-time study programme parallel to the secondary school education. It is the preparation for admission into the BA Dance Programme. Students from the Orientation Classes are accepted in the Young Talents Programme starting in the 7th year. External applicants have the possibility of admissions after passing the aptitude test and a successful audition. 

In particular, creations by well-known choregraphers such as Stephen Thoss, Andras Heise, Michael Tucker, and our internal artistic members of staff give our students the opportunity to express themselves in a variety of ways and to find their own style. The opportunitz to dance with the Semperoper Ballett and to take part in guest performances allows our Young Talent Classes to experiecen how the dance world operates. International teachers and guest lecturers also help the students to gain experience and make contacts.
