Artistic Master Class 2016

The C.O.R.E. Creating Opportunities of Research & Explorations combines both subjective and objective results, which as chains of ideas describe some artistic and educational experiences. I have managed in these two years, opportunities to collect various explorations, research, experiments and productions both through practice and theory of moving and composing.

The project received a lot of energy through numerous encounters and led to a varied debate.

Due to changes in perspective and new ways of looking at movement and composing, I have a strong need for both research into the functionality of movement that defines a performer, movement artist or dancer, as well as the necessary and energetic support for the pedagogical and choreographic work with dancers, movement artists, performers and actors.

My focus was on the function of the pelvis for movement and the optimal use of the hip joints. Since I myself had a combined pin cam impingement on my hip and therefore had an operation, my focus has since been on finding the most efficient possible ways of using this joint.

It provides mobility and stability in that the transmitted weight of the body sinks through the pelvis into the floor and back up as acting lines of force aligns the body as a stable and mobile apparatus.

Dancing virtuosity has taken on a new meaning for me in recent years. Above all, it consists of the responsibility for the complete and complex musculoskeletal system and for the awareness of the need for adjustments, stress and relief during performances and in physical practice.

The qualifications of the Artistic Masterclass & the Master's Degree in Choreography have prepared me well for my artistic and educational practice, both as a freelance artist as well as chief choreographer and artistic director in different contexts.

C.O.R.E. This experience gave me a new dimension and opened up new visions of the future for me.

Thanks to all dear supporters and the Palucca family, who are not only my role models, but also actively helped me and always stood by my side in difficult and successful moments. Be it correcting, criticizing, giving impulses, consoling, motivating, opening doors, giving advice or for simply "being there" - I would like to thank you at this point. Without your support, it would not have been possible for me to get here. My thanks goes to Helena Maciel Fernandino, Olivia Fernandino Moreira, Maria Salete Auxiliadora das Gra?as Moreira, Braz Gomes Moreira, Prof. Dr. Thomas Kampe, Prof. Dr. Carol Brown, Undine Materni, Mareike Stuchell, Angela Rannow, Martina Prei?ler, Franziska Kusebauch, Martina Hefter, Marita Matzke, Luzia di Resende, Barbara Blummel, Manuela und Reinhard Poth.
